Nakvali is an independent, early-stage cycling recorder. Use it thoughtfully and keep a backup of the rides that matter to you.

The app and website

Nakvali is developed by Stas (whekin). These terms apply to the app and this website. Using Nakvali means accepting these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Any rights granted by an explicit source-code or dependency license remain governed by that license.

Early development

The app is under active development. Features may change, and recording, sensor estimates, exports or connected services may fail or be unavailable. Keep independent backups of important rides. Features marked “coming soon” are plans, not a promise of delivery or a feature of the current build.

Ride responsibly

Nakvali is not an emergency, navigation or safety service. Recorded tracks and statistics are estimates, not guarantees of trail access, safety or timing accuracy. Follow local rules and trail closures, respect other riders and landowners, and stop somewhere safe before interacting with your phone.

Your recordings and account

You keep your rights in your recordings. Using the app does not transfer ownership of them to Nakvali. You authorize the processing necessary for the features you use, such as local track processing or an export you request. Keep your account credentials secure and upload only recordings you are entitled to share.

Other services

Google/Firebase, GitHub, map providers and any ride-sharing service you choose have their own terms and privacy practices. Nakvali is an independent project and is not made by or endorsed by BIKEYARD or Strava. Connecting to a service does not guarantee that it will accept a ride or calculate the same statistics.

Availability and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nakvali is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free results. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded. You can stop using the app at any time; deleting the app does not automatically delete data previously sent to other services.
